Inaugural Post

This is my very first post on my very first blog! I'm feeling a little self-imposed pressure to put something here that might qualify as 'posterity-worthy', but that wouldn't actually be like me at all. This page will mainly be for idle ramblings and someplace to post things I want friends to see.
